1Production Schedule and monitoring document

1	13th Jan	1 Schedule Creation: Throughout this week, I will be creating a realistic schedule that I will be able to follow in order for me to complete my media project and this should enable me to submit it in on the 15th of February. The schedule will be realistic and detailed and I will include 3 activities to be completed as homework. Out of lesson time homework should contain 4 hours of study per week. 2 Schedule Creation: Today I will look at other commitments I have due to other A-levels etc. This should enable me to create a realistic schedule of how much time may be spent on the project and how assessable the schedule is. In order to do this I will have to research into my other subjects about what other deadlines I will have to meet during the next 6 weeks.  Homework 1: I will be updating all the sheets I have completed and update them to my blog. This will be done as soon as possible to enable me to keep on top of my blog and not fall behind. Homework 2: Font research is important, so this will be crucial to complete. I will do research on which fonts work with certain layouts and which fonts to try to avoid. Homework 3: I will explore the different ways that successful magazines have laid out their double page spread. I will be looking for layouts that would work with my articles. Exams/other subject deadlines: -Psychology exam questions/plans -Law practice questions and revision
2	20th Jan	1 I will download the fonts I have researched and start to put together the titles, subheadings and sell lines I will be using for my magazine articles. 2 I will use InDesign to create the layouts of my magazines, while using my flat plans. They will not be completely the same as I may change my ideas as I go along. 3 During this lesson I will possibly be finishing off the layouts of the magazine; if I was unable to finish during the second lesson. 4 Project Monitoring & Homework 1: I will be researching inspiring images that I would like to recreate to fit my article. I will be making sure that I am organized for my photo shoot and that the models know exactly what I will be expecting from them. Homework 2: I will be creating a draft of my articles in order to tweak in lesson. This will allow me to have a quiet surrounding to focus on the article. Homework 3: I will be choosing colours to use on my layout; the colours will be researched so I know what colours are best to suit the genre and the article type. This will allow me to fit my magazine best with the target audience.
3	27stJan	1 I will be completing my photo shoot for winter blues, once the images are taken I will transfer them to my computer and begin to edit them in photo shop 2 I will be shooting my photos for 5 steps of happiness, again transferring the images and editing them in photo shop 3 Again I will be doing exactly the same for home time horror and beginning to edit them. I will also be taking a main image for my front cover. 4 Project Monitoring & Homework 1: for home work I will be finishing off the editing for winter blues article Homework2: I will need to finish of the editing to 5 steps of happiness photo shoot. Homework 3: Again I will need to complete any editing of home time horror photo shoot images. Exams/other subject deadlines:
4	3rd   Feb	1 During this lesson I will be adding my images to the layout of winter blues and adding my subheading and titles. I will be editing the article, and possibly adding it to the layout. 2 Throughout this lesson I will be completing exactly the same but for 5 steps of happiness. 3 Again I will be adding images and text to my layout and possibly finishing off my articles. This will leave me production time to make changes to the layouts 4 Project Monitoring & Homework 1: I will be tweaking my article for winter blues, to allow me to change anything I dislike and then add the article to my layout. Homework 2: I will be tweaking my article for 5 steps of happiness. Again this will allow me to make changes. Homework 3: I will be tweaking my article for 5 steps of happiness. Again this will allow me to make changes. Exams/other subject deadlines:
5	10th  Feb	1 I will be editing the main image that I will be using for my front cover of my magazine. Once the editing is done I will start to create the layout for my front cover. 2 During this week I will be putting my front cover together; I will be adding headlines, sub headings and sell lines. I will be including base lines and skylines. The images of main articles will be added to the front cover so that the target audience will know what the main view points out. 3 I will be making final changes such as colours and fonts once that my layout is more or less perfectly how I want it. 4 Project Monitoring & Homework 1: I will be getting feed back from friends and family about what is good about the magazine and what needs to be improved. Homework 2: I will research about specific magazine layouts of how I could improve my article. Homework 3: I will make a plan about what I need to change in this last week and how I could improve my grade. Exams/other subject deadlines:
Half term	17th Feb	Homework: Complete Monitoring and make sure that blog elements are complete
6	24th	1 I will make final changes to winter blues, which could include moving images around/changing colours etc. I will make sure that my double page spread is completely finished and there are no other changes that need to be done before submitting work. 2 I will apply the final changes to 5 steps of happiness; as stated the same as above. E.g. text layout, image layout, placing of sub headings.  3 I will make final changes to my final double page spread: home time horror. e.g. changing font sizes, image sizes. 4 Project Monitoring & Homework 1: I will allow this time to be changing anything on my front cover, such as colours, image size, layout etc. Homework 2: I will get feedback from the target audience to see how my changes work with the magazine and whether the changes are worth it. Homework 3: I will make sure that everything is complete in order to meet the deadline and that everything is completed up to a good standard and that I am pleased with the progress made.
