According to my schedule this week I should of
completed:
Downloaded fonts and used the fonts to create my
titles, subheadings and sell lines for my magazine.
I should have also created a rough layout of my
double page spreads according to my flat plan designs.
Furthermore there should be some research done on
inspirational images that would be suitable for my double page spread.
This week I have achieved the downloading of fonts
for all three of my double page spreads.
This allowed to me to start creating the layout of
my double page spread for '5 steps of happiness'.
This enabled me to decide colours that I will be
using for the double page spread and consider these colours in order to decide
colours I will be using to brand my magazine.
However, this week I failed to create rough designs
of all my double page spreads. This may be due to the indecisive colour scheme
and fonts. This will slow down the production and the ability for me to move on
and keep on track of my schedule.
I have realised it would of being more suitable to
write my articles and produce my images before completing layouts for my double
page spread. This would of allowed me more time to edit the magazine nearer the
end of production and allow me to do the credential bits first.
The affect of this will be that I will not be able
to complete the work completely to how I planned my magazine, but this does not
necessarily mean the schedule is not effective.
